A LONGING FOR FILM
I’ve been thinking about buying a film camera quite a bit now, you now a nice big one to shoot more landscapes. I love the feel and look of film, there’s an edge to it that seems to be lacking in digital. Don’t get me wrong I love using my Nikons, I love the creative freedom you get out of it. I just want to get simple again, so while I’ve been thinking I have also been looking at some images shot with my Pentax 67, I still have it, just can’t bring myself to sell.
TIM & JODIE ON AN E-SHOOT

This good looking couple are getting married in July, but it was last Saturday that we all headed down to Pearl beach to shoot their engagement shoot. The weather was fantastic, we started about 5PM with the sun coming through the trees then headed off to the beach to get the setting sun. We could not of asked for anything better, even the wind was in our favour.

Another moment in Farrah’s life. She’s teething know so there was plenty of chewing on the fist and dribble’s, not to mention the bouncing up and down.
VARIETY

Having the opportunity to shoot different things keeps me busy and enjoying my job. Friday I was over at Vibrant Concepts for another shoot with Sam. Sam has some exciting things happening soon so she needed a change of pace for her image, I think we pulled it off. Then over the weekend I had to photograph mote trophies, this was fun getting the lights right for the right amount of sparkle. Plus of course I’ve been out and about with my camera capturing some great new landscapes for a future project.
SOLDIERS BEACH
I popped up to Soldiers beach yesterday afternoon. I could see there was something building up in the sky as I drove home from the gallery and thought to myself that looks like it needs to be photographed. So after changing in to something a little cooler I drove up the coast and, when I got there I knew it was going to go off. Within minuets of capturing this image down it came, so it was a mad dash to the car, but I had managed to get some great images.
JAMES AND BELINDA @ MCMASTERS BEACH
February 8, 2010 by Neville · Leave a Comment
As we now all know Saturday was a very wet day, with the whole months rain falling within hours, so you can imagine the problems of getting married on the beach. Well we all had to retreat indoors for James and Belinda’s day. Just because of a little problem like water doesn’t mean we cant capture some lovely romantic images, that’s what we managed to get down on McMasters Beach, we did manage a few beach shot’s in between downpours though.
The weather was like this.

Leanne popped in with Dakota this morning to have a look at her pregnancy shots (HERE) and place an order, so while she was here I squeezed of a snap of what was inside her belly. Three weeks old and a bundle of joy.
