TIM AND RACHEL’S E-SHOOT
You know what? I love my job. Not only do I meet great looking couples who are in love, but I get the chance to create some wonderful pictures for them in some of the best locations. We shot these at Toowoon Bay on the NSW Central Coast on a windy Saturday afternoon, on a busy beach, with the best light I could off asked for, hazy and diffused, perfect. Tim and Rachel are getting wed in January, but I’m also shooting her sister’s wedding in 9 day’s.

Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Brenton and Kristyn and yes it was a pleasure. I really enjoyed the whole experience, even though the temperatures were testing me, I’m welsh, I get grumpy when it’s hot. Any way here are a few images from the day, hopefully I shall post a few more in during the week.
Thanks guy’s for giving me the pleasure to photograph your day. Nev.
The man himself, what a handsome bloke.

MARK AND NIKKI
November 14, 2009 by Neville · 2 Comments
Mark and Nikki’s wedding was held at Linton Gardens, but we shot the pictures at Mt Penang Garden’s and, it was a really lovely day, about 4pm in the afternoon so the sun was not too high, just enough for me to use it the way I like best. We had a great time walking all the way round the gardens just shooting pictures, lot’s of them. Below are just a few I’ve managed to work on today.

BUSY
November 13, 2009 by Neville · Leave a Comment
The last two days have been a bit hectic. Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Mark and Nikki’s wedding. This morning was photographing a group of advertising people for a local agency. So as I’ve been on my bum most of the day today editing and talking to people who pop in and, seeing to quotes, I thought I would post two images from yesterday so that I can go home and have a glass of wine. More to follow over the next few day’s.

READING MATTER

I love looking at other photographers work, I would love to collect it but the images I like are way over my budget, so the best way is to buy their book. These are just a few I’ve been collecting over the years, by incredible artist such as: Alfred Stieglitz, Ansel Adams, George Tice, Robert Frank, William Eggleston, Joel Meyerowitz, Sebatiao Salgado, Philip Jones Griffiths, a fellow welshman and many more. Robert Haines who grew up in the same village as me, he’s a few years older has produced a book on that place called “Once Upon A Time In Wales“. Robert Frank photographed Wales when it was a thriving mining country, the best book I’ve seen on the subject.

HOMAGE TO VARGAS
After many hours of work on another of Tamar’s image’s, I have managed to pull of my homage to the 1940′s famous pin-up artist Alberto Vargas. His paintings were used by pilots in WW II on the nose of their aircraft. The second image is the finished version of the post below, big difference.

Yesterday morning was spent photographing trophies for the summer catalog. This morning I photographed Gary the MD of U Bid 4 Rooms. He’s having a new ad and wanted to look good.
