A little while ago I had to photograph just over 80 pieces of cosmetics for a magazine. Well I received my copy of Perfect Brides and Weddings yesterday and they have made good use of them, throughout the there are pages of little bottles of perfume and lipsticks. It always makes me feel good when I see my work printed.

I used to like taking photos of people going about their day, but now I’m a little worried that someone is going to start a problem. although in all my years as a photographer I have never had anybody take of-fence, except for one, a farmer on his tractor, but I think he was doing something he wasn’t supposed to. Here are a few from my archives, the colour image was captured on Terrigal beach about a year ago. the others are, Sydney Central Station 1986, Abercynon S.Wales 1988 and Aberdare 1977. Photography is such fun.

Anybody who knows me, knows I like my coffee. Well for a long time I’ve been purchasing my coffee beans from a particular place, but yesterday I went somewhere else, I decided to try my friends coffee, Ben and Chris Gleeson of GLEE COFFEE in Tuggerah. Let me tell you if you want the best this is the place to get it. I made myself a cup yesterday afternoon and, oh my gosh, what a taste. They now have a new client. Yumee. Give them a call on 02 43534410.
As everybody knows a good cup of coffee should always have a bite to go with it. Well what luck for me. My wife Michelle works with Sylvia Edwards. Sylvia likes to make cakes, but most importantly I like to eat them. Sylvia is thinking of making cupcakes for the public to enjoy, not just me, so if you want some scrumptious cake’s for a party, wedding or anything then drop me a line and I will pass it on to Sylvia.
FARRAH GRACE

Look who came for a visit this morning. Farrah and Candice popped in for half an hour and we managed to grab a couple of shot’s. Hasn’t she grown? You may remember I photographed her when she was just one day old, HERE. Now she’s nearly two months.

MY BIGGEST EARNING IMAGE

Thought I would show off my highest earning image to date. Captured a few years ago, it shows a farmer collecting straw bails late in the afternoon, just outside Ballarat in Victoria. I won’t say how much it’s earned in one sale, but let’s say, I would still have enough left to purchase a few compact flash cards after purchasing a Nikon D3x and, to think I only squeezed off two frame’s, the main camera was set up on a tripod facing a church on a hill in the opposite direction, that image still hasn’t earned a penny.
HEATH & NICOLE E-SHOOT PART 2
Well here they are, more images from Heath and Nicole’s shoot. We had a blast at a couple of locations, but the biggest blessing came down on Tuggerah lakes at sunset. Look at those colours. Taking the meter reading from the sky then using the SB-900 off camera with my Pocket Wizards, I managed to get the fill into the both of them just at the right angle. Thanks guy’s I had a great time, plus you allowed me to push myself more creatively and didn’t mind me doing strange things.

Yesterday afternoon was spent shooting Heath & Nicole’s engagement images. They’re getting married in December. I don’t think they should wait, as they cant keep their hands off each other. I love it when couples forget I’m around, it gives me the opportunity to create images that show intimate moments that exist between two people in love. Here’s four, I’ll process a couple more during the week.
