Sticking with the wet were having right now I thought I would post a couple of images from Emma and Mathew’s E-Shoot from a couple of weeks ago, shot at Terrigal. Goes to show you dont need lovely sunny weather to create magic. But if you want to see a shoot from a bright sunny day visit my families page on my web site.

What started out as a nice soft cloud cover tuned out to be a hot sunny end by the time I had finished photographing Ian and Vivienne at Terrigal for their E-Shoot this morning, but we had fun and came back with some great images, even if things were a bit awkward to begin with. Thanks guy’s for putting up with my unusual ideas.

THE JONES’S PART 2
March 27, 2009 by Neville · Leave a Comment
Slowly getting through the image’s for Lachlan and Oliver, but just before I head of home I thought I would share a few more from yesterdays shoot. Tomorrow I have another E-session down on the beach. To say this week has been busy would be an understatement, thank goodness next week is a little calmer.

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONES’S
That’s how I felt today, chasing little Lachlan and Oliver over Avoca beach. A fun day we had with plenty of sand not just on the beach but all over their banana and their lolly’s, supplied by Sweet Solutions at Terrigal, which by the way was the boy’s first lolly, now captured forever. With so many images to process I will upload just a few today with more to follow as I get through them. Hope these few bring a smile to your faces Chris and Barbara because there’s plenty more for you to go through.

DESIGN SHOOT

Today I had the best time photographing the results of a complete home makeover for the very talented and attractive Design Specialist Elle Brown. If your thinking of having your residential, commercial space restyled or, having an interior designer in or, you may want a project manager for your renovation, construction inside and/or out then you wont go wrong if you get in touch with Elle. I have posted two image from the shoot.

DANIEL & LEANNE ARE ENGAGED
March 23, 2009 by Neville · 3 Comments
Why do I love my job? Because of people like Leanne and Daniel, simple answer.
When you get the best people in the world who give you the ultimate compliment of asking you to photograph their wedding and engagement shoot and, are willing to go the extra mile by getting up before dawn to get to the beach to shoot photographs. That’s what we done this morning, it was one of those clear sunrises up at Caves beach and we had a great time, we all got wet and we came back with some great shots. I have posted a couple for you to have a look at for now while I process the rest over the next couple of day’s. Tomorrow I have a completely different shoot to do, so maybe you should pop back and check out what’s happening.

A FILLER

I have a busy week coming up next week, with only two free day’s not shooting pictures, mind you those day’s will be filled with editing the new images, so pop back next week to see what I’ve been up to. In the meantime here is one I shot last week at Spoon Bay. This place really pushes me to come up with something different. Shot just before the sun appears above the horizon on a D3, F2.8 24-70mm lens, and a 0.6 neutral density graduated filter, iso was 200.

CHANGE OF PLANS
March 19, 2009 by Neville · Leave a Comment
I was supposed to shoot an E session this morning but Leanne was not feeling to good so we have moved everything to Monday, hope your feeling better Leanne.
But seeing I had the gear packed and ready to some work I drove up to The Entrance and photographed a couple of spots, the one posted I have shot before I particularly like this image, I like the softness, the very natural colours almost pastel like, something I will try and pursue a little more I think.

LATE 2 BED EARLY 2 RISE
March 18, 2009 by Neville · Leave a Comment
I closed the gallery early yesterday afternoon so that I could take a trip up to the Hunter Valley, I wanted to shoot some photos of the vine’s dressed in green. I spent most of my time in the Pokolbin area, the image below is just one I came back with, shot with a D700 and a Nikkor 70-200 2.8 lens on a Benbo tripod. Then this morning it was an early start, but I didn’t fancy driving to far, so I popped to my local beach and went to the northern end this time, captured with a Nikon D3 with the 24-70mm f2.8 lens and a 0.6 neutral density graduated filter. Looks like tomorrow will be the same as I have a really early morning start with a dawn E-Shoot, that should be fun.
