BIRD ISLAND

Yesterday evening I popped up to the Lakes Beach to try and capture an image of Bird Island. This is just one I came back with, not quite what I have in mind but I’m getting closer to it, at least I know when I need to go back. This was captured on the D3 with an exposure of 4 minutes, a natural density 0.6 filter was in front of the 24-70mm 2.8 lens and, from it’s sharpness was bolted down really well on my Benbo tripod. The iso was 200.
