BIG DAY FOR TIM AND JODIE

I think God is smiling today. Look who is getting married this afternoon. I shall be photographing Tim and Jodie’s wedding all day and Im looking forward to it. Tomorrow I will be in Sydney on another wedding, which I know will be quite special.

AARON AND MELISSA’S E-SHOOT PART 2

It seems Aaron and Melissa’s photos are a hit so here are a few more for you to enjoy.You may have noticed I’ve toned back my colour palette. One of the things I have been noticing with digital is, it wants to give you too much information, it take’s everything in and, sometimes I dont want that.

AARON AND MELISSA’S E-SHOOT

I had the pleasure of photographing Aaron and Melissa this afternoon up at Somersby, very wet and slippery. If you ask Melissa she will tell you how she came to find that out. Anyway we had some fun for a couple of hours. One of the best parts of the day was I had an assistant, Tara who is in year 10 and wants to be a food photographer, I thought that was fantastic, usually it’s a landscape photographer or, I dont know yet answer. I only hope she had a good time and learned something, because it was great having her there. So here are a few images from the shoot.

LOVE AND HORSES

How lucky can I get? Not only do I get the opportunity to photograph some great people, I also get to go and shoot pictures in some great spots. Saturday afternoon I was down at Kenthurst for an E-Shoot of Matthew and Christie who will be getting married in a couple of weeks. Christie does dressage, so there were a few horses around with stables and all the lovely things that go with it plus a great day.

These are just a few images from the shoot there are still a few more to process, but I couldn’t resist showing you this taster.

TIM & JODIE ON AN E-SHOOT

This good looking couple are getting married in July, but it was last Saturday that we all headed down to Pearl beach to shoot their engagement shoot. The weather was fantastic, we started about 5PM with the sun coming through the trees then headed off to the beach to get the setting sun. We could not of asked for anything better, even the wind was in our favour.

TIM AND RACHEL’S E-SHOOT

You know what? I love my job. Not only do I meet great looking couples who are in love, but I get the chance to create some wonderful pictures for them in some of the best locations. We shot these at Toowoon Bay on the NSW Central Coast on a windy Saturday afternoon, on a busy beach, with the best light I could off asked for, hazy and diffused, perfect. Tim and Rachel are getting wed in January, but I’m also shooting her sister’s wedding in 9 day’s.

HEATH & NICOLE E-SHOOT PART 2

Well here they are, more images from Heath and Nicole’s shoot. We had a blast at a couple of locations, but the biggest blessing came down on Tuggerah lakes at sunset. Look at those colours. Taking the meter reading from the sky then using the SB-900 off camera with my Pocket Wizards, I managed to get the fill into the both of them just at the right angle. Thanks guy’s I had a great time, plus you allowed me to push myself more creatively and didn’t mind me doing strange things.

HEATH AND NICOLE

Yesterday afternoon was spent shooting Heath & Nicole’s engagement images. They’re getting married in December. I don’t think they should wait, as they cant keep their hands off each other. I love it when couples forget I’m around, it gives me the opportunity to create images that show intimate moments that exist between two people in love. Here’s four, I’ll process a couple more during the week.

BRENTON + KRISTYN = ENGAGED

Yesterday afternoon was spent down by Hardy’s Bay and Putty beach photographing Brenton & Kristyn for their E-Shoot, they will be getting married in November. What a perfect afternoon it was, a light wind, clear blue sky and no crowds. There were so many photo opportunities, it was hard to stop shooting. I have uploaded 4 images today with a few more to follow
