Yesterday was spent shooting new promotional images for Poppyevents the event decorators at Magenta Shores. It was a great day. We set up, or should I say the talented team of ladies at Poppyevents, set up a number of sets and, I had the privilege of conceptualizing and photographing them. the sun made an appearance just at the right time for the outdoor shoot. I love working with talented people, as its always a team that work’s well together that create the best images.

THE KITCHEN CUPBOARD

A sample of what I have been photographing the last couple of day’s, doors and handles, it’ interesting work because you have to work out the best light angles, which takes the most amount of time. Light supplied by one old Bownens mono and softbox.

NOONAWEENA BRIDAL EXPO

April 12, 2010 by Neville · Leave a Comment

Well as I mentioned in my last post before the weekend, I had the most pleasurable job of photographing the promotional images for Noonaweena’s first bridal Expo. How lucky can I get. Not only did I have the best place on the Coast to photograph, but I also had, not one, not two but five gorgeous ladies all dressed in some of the most incredible dresses I have seen, the dress were designed and made by Kel-Leigh Courture,  Tea Rose and Corston Courture. Stunning. All the ladies were made up by Jill of Beauty on the Mountain. If your having a wedding coming up and are still looking for a reception, take my word for it you cant go past Noonaweena. Give Adam a call and I’m sure he would be only to pleased to show you around.

I have uploaded just a few from the shoot over the weekend, hopefully I shall process a few more and show them off as they are done.

Having the opportunity to shoot different things keeps me busy and enjoying my job. Friday I was over at Vibrant Concepts for another shoot with Sam. Sam has some exciting things happening soon so she needed a change of pace for her image, I think we pulled it off. Then over the weekend I had to photograph mote trophies, this was fun getting the lights right for the right amount of sparkle. Plus of course I’ve been out and about with my camera capturing some great new landscapes for a future project.

I RETURN

December 9, 2009 by Neville · Leave a Comment

Hello folks, sorry for the long absence but I have been busy. There’s plenty of editing, that never seems to finish, then albums to design plus these two shoots. One for the Trophies company, I shoot their catalog three times a year and now this new one for their corporate section. They wanted something a little more special, rather than clean shadowless light, so I went with the spotlight effect. I used one strobe fitted with barn doors and a honeycomb, a good clean look. Then there was the shoot for Sam at Vibrant Concepts, she’s having an online shop and is branching off into her own line of cosmetics. Plenty of fun.
