GRACE IS 4 MONTHS OLD

Grace has just turned 4 months and she was in the mood for photography, except for  the time’s she was bringing back lunch. I did get one image of that but I’ll keep it to myself. These short photo sessions are so much fun, I even get to crawl about on the floor. GRACE

Months pass ever so quickly, it was Graces fourth month of her, A Year in the Life Of, project. This time she was not in the mood for photography, I seem to have that effect on some of my younger sitters. But when they dont want to behave, sometimes I manage to get some really nice shots. These were photographed at mum and dads home, even gramps got in on the act.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE LADIES

Grace came in this morning for one of her monthly photo shoot’s, but this time she brought Gran. Grace managed a few little disgruntled noise’s this time, but only enough to keep us on our toes. If you haven’t been keeping up, I offer my clients the chance to record the first year of their baby, from belly to 1 year old and, it is great way of having an A4 album to show and keep of babies year, give me a call if your interested.

What did I do today? Well I photographed a mocked presentation of and award, for a business brochure this morning. Then in the afternoon I photographed Grace in her first month of her year, how much fun is that? Thought I would post one of the images from the shoot.

look who I photographed yesterday afternoon. Yes you guessed, Farrah. Another day in Farrah’s year and, I swear she’s playing up to the camera now. These were shot down at Terrigal just as the sun was about to disappear over the horizon.

BACK TO WORK

I hope you all had a great break, I did, I took lots of pictures. It all started on Thursday afternoon when I popped over to North Gosford hospital to photograph Grace, 2 day’s old and already grabbing the attention, these few images are the start of Grace’s first year in the “A Year in the Life Of” project, click here to see mum a couple of weeks before. I love these stories.

Then over the long weekend I was out and about shooting pictures, the two below are from Spoon Bay captured on Monday morning. There was also another photog there who had already set up and was busy shooting pictures as I could see the back of his camera light up, so I decided to move along the cliff top a little out of his way. I placed the tripod up then walked about the top of the cliff looking for a location when the other photographer came over and asked me to move, OK I said, as I know what it’s like when somebody gets in the way, you want to give them a right what for, especially fishermen, anyway the next thing he said to me was, and I quote, “I dont have Photoshop yet”. So how does that work? If he had Photoshop I would imagine he couldn’t care less if I was his way I presume. The digital age has a lot to answer for with people buying into the theory that you you need this and that just to create a good picture. Gosh I love the film days.

LAUREN; A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF.

Meet Lauren, this is the first image in what is going to be part of her and babies first year in, A Year in the Life Of. This was a gift from her brother Glen, after all that’s what brothers are for to look after their sisters. Over the next year Lauren will be having photographs taken to capture their babies first year, these will then be collected into an A4 coffee table book, making it one very treasured piece of their families history. Another moment in Farrah’s life. She’s teething know so there was plenty of chewing on the fist and dribble’s, not to mention the bouncing up and down.

ANOTHER DAY IN THE YEAR OF FARRAH

I popped down to Terrigal beach late yesterday afternoon to photograph Farrah, Martin and Candice, for another day in Farrah’s first year. It was a little windy, a lot cooler, my kind of weather, but we had half an hour of some fun. Farrah is pulling a lot more faces now and I cant wait to see how she grows and changes. This project is turning out to be so much fun.
